The Kick-off meeting of the Ermond project was held at Hotel Glymur, Iceland, May 22-23, 2014.
Thirteen participants took part in discussions forming the framework of the Ermond project and revision of budget.

Field excursion day took place after the meeting in West-Iceland. Various topics were covered on the way: Ecosystems, degradation, land use, and ecosystem restoration and the effects of land use and manmade constructions on wildlife, Ramsar site, wetlands, agriculture and culture.
